AscendWorks Publication was established in 2026 as an independent scholarly publishing company founded by Dr Mark Anthony N. Polinar, driven by the vision of providing an ethical, innovative, and globally accessible platform for the dissemination of scholarly knowledge.

Recognising the increasing need for reputable academic publishing opportunities, particularly for researchers, educators, students, and professionals in the Philippines and neighbouring regions, the company was founded to address the growing demand for credible, transparent, and multidisciplinary publication services.

Why It Was Founded

The inception of AscendWorks Publication was driven by the founder’s extensive experience in academic research, higher education, research mentoring, and scholarly publication. Through years of supervising both undergraduate and graduate research, engaging in academic conferences, and supporting researchers in publishing their work, the founder identified several significant challenges within the scholarly publishing landscape.
