The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Minor Errors
Minor errors that do not affect the validity of a study — such as typographical mistakes, formatting issues, or small calculation errors — are corrected through the publication of an erratum or corrigendum. These corrections are clearly linked to the original article and made freely accessible to readers.
By convention, an erratum corrects an error introduced by the journal; a corrigendum corrects one introduced by the authors.
Substantive Errors
In cases where errors are more substantive but do not warrant retraction, AJISI issues a formal correction notice to ensure transparency and uphold the reliability of published work.
Where an error does invalidate the findings, the article retraction policy applies instead.
How to Report an Error
Authors and readers who identify an error in a published article should write to ascendresearchpublication@gmail.com with the article reference and a description of the problem. Authors who discover an error in their own work are expected to notify the editorial office promptly.
