Archiving and Preservation Policy

How the published record is kept accessible for the long term.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Hosting

AJISI ensures the long-term accessibility of its published content through multiple preservation strategies. All articles are hosted on the journal’s official website, maintained under a Hostinger Premium account with secure backups and reliable uptime.

Repositories

In addition, AJISI deposits published works in recognized repositories to guarantee global visibility and compliance with FAIR principles:

RepositoryPurpose
ZenodoLong-term preservation backed by CERN, with a persistent identifier for each deposit
FigshareDeposit of articles, datasets and supplementary files
Open Science Framework (OSF)Preservation and discovery, with support for associated materials
OpenAIREAggregation and metadata interoperability across European and global infrastructure
Academia.eduDissemination and discovery

Author Self-Archiving

Authors are further encouraged to share their work on ResearchGate and other repositories to expand scholarly reach and collaboration. Because authors retain copyright, they may deposit the published version immediately, with no embargo.

Why It Matters

Journals close, domains lapse, and hosting arrangements change. Distributed copies held by independent repositories are what keep an article citable when that happens.
